Caminito del Rey & Montserrat

If you ever visit the south of Spain those are places I would suggest visiting.

Caminito del Rey

The path is known as El Caminito del Rey (King’s Little Pathway), inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII.

Encounter a footbridge over 3 kilometers long, built on the walls of the Gaitanes Gorge (Desfiladero de los Gaitanes).

Make sure you buy tickets in advance.

Sometimes months in advance as well as arrive 1-2 hours earlier to find parking.

In the mountain environment, it’s quite tricky for both.

Yeah, you gotta wear a helmet and follow the guide but then in the middle of the route, you can go on your own.

A path once considered the most dangerous hike in the world is now one of the safest. It’s completely rebuilt with high standard safety in place.

Montserrat

Middle of April and the heat was already touching nature and my body.

In general, it was fun and a great hike.
