My Alpine Italy discovery at the Austrian border

Italy is so different compared to the south of Italy. It’s totally wild.

Loads of forests, rivers, and mountains.

Toblacher See

First stop, close to the border, was greeted by this beautiful lake and mountain view.

The journey was continuing and was greeted by another serpentine road.

Going into the more wild mountain area

Magnificent Italian roads with mountain views.

Mountain road with steep cliffs and green forests

Rivers, forests, mountains

Second stop, mountains everywhere and lunch time.

Valley view with river and forest

The cooking stove, as usual, was helpful to make some ready-made pasta. You know that everything in nature tastes much better.

Summer was dry, so the river was not so wide, but still beautiful.
