I finally made it to Austria's wild heart and got completely drenched in the Alps

It’s been a while since the last blog post.

I will do my best to have more of them just for my own purpose. (giving promises to myself).

So this blog post is from August 2022

First taste of Austrian Alps to be more percise in Gesause National Park.

Beginning of serpentine roads

Somedays the weather was cloudy and rainy but don’t worry, it had its charm, which was lit.

Neighborhood for next few days

For this specific place it was raining, windy, and with lightning special effects.

A lot of rivers left and right which turns into one big river

For the first time, I was using new hiking boots and realized how good they are in extremely wet conditions. La Sportiva they call it. The water never left shoes inside, but oh well, that was fun!

Grateful for every moment that mountains give. It’s like talking to mountain soul. Every mountain is different though.

This is it - Austria in few moments.

Next blog post will be about Italy! Best ice-cream btw!
